Want your book in front of real reading families?

We feature picture books and early readers we genuinely love, and our audience is exactly the one you are trying to reach: parents, grandparents, teachers and librarians actively looking for their next read-aloud. Submissions are free and features are never paid for.

    Send it over

    Fill in the form below with your title, age range and a link to a sample or digital review copy. Physical copies are welcome too.

    We read it properly

    Every submission gets read cover to cover, then read aloud to a real child in the right age band. We reply either way within three weeks.

    It meets our readers

    Selected books get a full feature: a review post on the blog, a spot in the weekly email, and a shout across our social channels.

What we are looking for

  • Children’s books and early readers for ages 0 to 10+
  • A story that holds up on the second read-aloud, not just the first
  • Illustration that gives a child something new to spot each time
  • Debut and independently published authors — genuinely, we love these
  • Books that widen the range of families and kids on the page

What we cannot take

  • Middle grade, YA or adult titles
  • Paid guarantees of a positive review — features are editorial and never for sale
  • Manuscripts seeking a publisher (we are a book club, not an agency)

When we feature a book we say plainly whether we received a review copy, and any shop link may be an affiliate link. Our opinion is never part of the deal.
